Jason joined Greeman Toomey in the summer of 2009. He obtained his B.A. in Psychology from the University of St. Thomas and his Juris Doctor from the University of St. Thomas School of Law. Jason is admitted to the Minnesota Bar and to the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota.
While in law school Jason worked in the Minneapolis Department of Civil Rights where he investigated allegations of discrimination and also in the law school’s legal clinic as a certified student attorney working in the field of Immigration. These experiences provided him with a strong foundation of compassion for individuals who are engaged in significant struggles and require legal assistance.
Prior to joining Greeman Toomey Jason assisted in the representation of hundreds of individuals seeking Social Security disability benefits and/or Supplemental Security Income by drafting legal briefs and memoranda advocating their positions. Since joining Greeman Toomey Jason has worked on disability claims at all levels of the process including civil actions before the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota and has personally represented hundreds of individuals at hearings before Administrative Law Judges. Additionally, he previously served on the Governance Council of the Social Security Disability Law Section of the Minnesota State Bar Association.
Jason lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota with his wife Jess who teaches English as a second language at a local high school. In his free time, Jason enjoys spending time with family and friends.
